installing problem for aftermarket dvd

i installed a dvd for my highlander,i met a problem,when i reverse my car,the image cann't automatically switch to rear view camera,anyone know what's the problem?

is there a separate connection for the rear view camera?

Check signal from rear gear to device. Device switch to rearview mode by this signal.

It is necessary to give on the device a signal of +12 volts from backing lamps.
On the device the entrance is designated as rear cam or rear is simple.
